Mila Kunis was born Milena Kunis in the Ukrainian city of Chernivtsi on August 14, 1983. Kunis was seven years old when she old, emigrated to America along with her parents Elvira und Mark Kunis. Then she moved to Los Angeles. The Kunis family was not able to make it in America, despite having a modest the sum of $250. Kunis' parents, both of whom quit their careers to move to a better location for their children and were determined to create an improved life for their children. Mark who was a former mechanical engineer, found work as an Uber driver. Elvira had previously taught physics in Ukraine and eventually owned a pharmacy. Kunis said, "I didn’t understand the culture" when he first arrived in the United States. "I didn't understand the people. I did not understand the language. My first sentence of my essay to get into college was like, 'Imagine being deaf and blind at the age of seven.' It was like being a newcomer to the States. I quickly got over it. Milena Markovna Kunis a daughter of Mark Kunis' and Elvira Kunis' in Chernivtsi Ukraine, was born on August 14, 1982. She is the elder sister to her older brother. Her mother works as a pharmacist and a physics teacher. Her father is a mechanical engineer professional. He doubles up as a taxi driver. Her family is Jewish and her family relocated to Los Angeles at the age of seven. Rosewood Elementary School was her first school. She began acting lessons when she was nine. After auditioning for commercials in a variety of different spots and a variety of other commercials, she was an actor in her first appearance on television on Days of Our Lives’ in 1994. She was first cast in the 1998 sitcom That ’70s show’ in the role of Jackie Burkhart. Her performance was praised by the critics. In 1999, she was given the role of Meg Griffin on the animated sitcom Family Guy.
