Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching was born March 28, 1977. She is an American actress. Her roles include Renee Walker on the American TV show 24. Motion recording and voice work were also performed for Tess in the videogame by Naughty Dog The Last of Us. Wersching was raised in St. Louis. She went to high school at Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis and graduated in 1995. As a child she was a competitive Irish dancer, and was a part of the St. Louis Celtic stepdancers. Millikin University awarded her a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre in 1999. Wersching started her acting career through appearances on the television show Star Trek: Enterprise, before moving on to appearances as a guest star on shows like Charmed Killer Instinct Supernatural as well as Cold Case. She played Amelia Joffe, a recurring character on ABC Daytime's soap show General Hospital from March 2007 to November 2007. Her other credits in theater include Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire and the Utah Shakespearean Festival. Wersching has also been seen in a variety of guest roles on TV shows like CSI, NCIS and Rizzoli and Islands, Hawaii Five-0 and Body of Proof. In 2014, she was a regular series regular for the Amazon Prime crime drama Bosch. Wersching played the National League's catcher on 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. In December 2012, it was announced that Wersching played the voice actor and mocap actor for Tess in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us. Her character was teased via Geoff Keighley's Twitter account before she was made public in the story trailer seen on Spike Video Game Awards on December 7th, 2012.In September 2021, it was announced that Wersching would play the Borg Queen in the second season of Star Trek: Picard.
