Noureen DeWulf

American actress Noureen DeWulf is an American actress (nee Ahmed), Her most memorable roles include in Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009) and West Bank Story (2006). Between 2012 and 2014, she appeared on the sitcom Anger Management as Lacey. DeWulf was born Noureen Ahmed in New York City to Gujarati Indian parents who were from Pune, Maharashtra, India and was raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia. She was educated as a Nizari Ismaili Muslim. There are two sisters older than her. Aziza, Aziza's older sister, teaches law at Northeastern University, Boston. Sara, her younger sister, is a San Francisco lawyer. DeWulf trained in theatre and international relations at Boston University's School for the Arts. After graduating, DeWulf moved to Los Angeles in order to pursue a career as an actor. She is fluent in Hindi, Urdu, and Gujarati. DeWulf started her acting career with the Oscar Award-winning short film West Bank Story. She played Fatima who is a dancer and singing Palestinian cashier who falls for an Israeli soldier. Since then, she has been appearing in comedic television films and series. She was on the NBC series Outsourced and TNT's Hawthorne and MTV's The Hard Times of RJ Berber. DeWulf was also a frequent guest on Lifetime's miniseries Maneater. She was in Matthew McConaughey's romantic comedy Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009) and Jeremy Piven in The Goods : Live Hard and Sell Hard (2009). The Taqwacores (2010) was her debut film. It debuted at Sundance Film Festival 2010. She co-starred alongside Charlie Sheen in the television sitcom Anger Management which ran from 2012 to the year 2014 on FX.In 2014, DeWulf won Best Actress at the Comedy Ninja Film and Screenplay Festival for her performance as a murderous temp in the independent film Coffee Kill Boss.In 2014, DeWulf was ranked #93 in Maxim magazine's "Hot 100" for the second time (the first time in 2007) and was named one of the top women in the world according to the magazine's readers.  In 2009, she was included in the "Top 30 under 30 in Nylon magazine.
