Markie Post
Markie Post was born in Walnut Creek,
California. She started her career in film and television productions such as
"Card Sharks" (1978) or "The New Card Sharks” (1986). Later, she
produced projects such as Double Dare (1976). She has also appeared on TV programs
such as 1st to Die (2003) and E! True Hollywood Story (1996) and Electra Woman
and Dyna Girl (2001). Her most memorable TV role was that of "Christine
Sullivan" in Night Court (1984). She appeared in more than 156 episodes of
the comedy between 1984 and 1992. Marylee (Armstrong) Post is her daughter. She
was a poet and a well-known nuclear physicist Richard Freeman Post (November
14, 1918 to April 7 2015). Two daughters, Katie Ross (born June 26, 1987), and
Daisy Ross (born on March 30 in 1990) was her second wedding to Michael A.
Ross. She was born in Palo Alto, California, and grew up in Walnut Creek,
California. Attended Las Lomas High School in Walnut Creek, California; she was
a cheerleader. Lewis & Clark College in Portland Oregon awarded her a
Bachelor of Arts degree. She did some trick roping in The Wildest West Show of
the Stars (1986). Her ashes were later returned home to Michael A. Ross, her
husband. She was a lifetime Democrat. Markie Post died three months after her
71st birthday on August 7, 2021. She passed away 27 days after her fellow Night
Court (1984) co-star Charles Robinson, who passed at the age of 11 on July 11,
2021. Although they were completely different shows Night Court (1984), where
she was the lead the role of Christine Sullivan leaving for Washington DC.
Hearts Afire (1992) was a show in which Post took on a new role Georgie lahti
(who also, coincidentally, had been employed for a time in Washington DC before
moving to smaller areas) was released in 1992.
